I think that I am doing this because I am a much better writer than I am a talker and even though I am also a very private person I think that writing things down may help me to understand me a little better and let me start over by concentrating on the things that are important to me. Call it an early new year's resolution or an early birthday promise. I'm trying to hit the quarter century mark as a new woman.
What that means to me right now is getting all of the potentially negative bullsh*t out of my life. I say potentially because I don't just mean things that are negative right now but things that have too much negative potential. So the last half of November has been all about abstainence meaning abstaining from anything that could cause me to be sad or confused or allow me to sink any further into the dumbassedness that has made up the majority of the last 4 plus months of my life. That means no alcohol (etc.), a lot less Wendy's, and no goodies for anyone (sniff)
But hopefully this experiment will turn me into a much better version of myself. I am trying to put things in perspective and concentrate on the things that are important to me: God, my family, and the people who care about me. Anything that would change my focus from that right now is unnecessary poison.
